Dr Sefton is an English native raised in Illinois, before moving to the east coast for her education. She grew up with a menagerie of pets, including cats, snakes, lizards, frogs, and tarantulas, fostering her love of animals of all species. She received her BS in Neuroscience from the University of Rochester, and completed her DVM at Tufts. Following graduation, she spent several years abroad focusing on equine charity work, before returning to the states and settling into mixed animal practice, where she particularly enjoys exotic medicine, behavior, and pain management. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, music, and spending time with pets, friends, and family.
